Galina Dimitrova

Galina Dimitrova is the curator and art program coordinator at InterSpace Media Art Centre (www.i-space.org), where she works since 1999. Her professional interests are in the field of new media and digital arts, public art projects and interactive installations. She works as an independent curator as well collaborates with different curators. She was the curator of the official Bulgarian participation at 9th Cairo Biennial' 2004. Galia is the main organizer of Net User international conference (www.netuser.cc) that takes place bi-annually in Bulgaria. Editor in chief of CULT.BG Server for Arts and Culture (www.cult.bg).

Presentation of Interspace organization and projects Urban Cycles 1&2 2000/2002; Macrovideo; Net User.
These projects are one of the most representative projects of the organization and are part of the international collaboration between curators and artists.

Presentation of the projects Cinemapsorts that is an experimental film project and  On Difference 2 Sofia BG that is a part of series of projects initiated by Wurttembergischer Kunstverein in Stuttgart and developed in close co-operation with numerous international curators, artists, and some of them in collaboration with writers, critics, film-makers, architects, activists and urban planners.
